Major cities like Florence is about 1 hour and 15 minutes drive, Siena 1 hour 30 mins and Pisa is 60 minutes away. a bit further on you have Milan (3.5 hour), Bologna (2.5 hour) and Rimin (3 hours) are all drivable. Often people fly into those airports and drive down. The Beaches of Viareggio, and Forte Dei Marmi are an hour away by car with Camaiore Beach about a 50 minute drive away.
