Beautifully situated house in an intact "Bullerby" where the newest house is from 1919. The house
was originally built for the workers at the local mine and each house had 4 apartments. The idea
was that each apartment would be self-sufficient and therefore each flat had it´s own garden, now
all the 4 gardens belong to the house. Now the house is reconstructed into 2 flats (but can easily be
converted to 3 apartments since there is still 3 kitchens). The house has four kakelugn (a swedish
stove of high quality), two wood stoves, a fireplace (all are well functioning). The ceiling is new,
fireplaces and chimney in excellent shape. Renovated bathroom and a new shower-room is
installed. There is also a sauna in the house. Almost all rooms are newly painted and/or wall-
papered. The house is in very good condition with both a basement, storage-building and a
functioning garage. The house has 3 kitchens (we use one of them as a work-studio), 2 living-
rooms (where 1 of them is 2 living-rooms made into one large room), 4 bedrooms, 3 more small
rooms, two entrances and hallways and 4 toilets. Great site with good growing
conditions, overlooking a pond. 
The house is secluded, surrounded by forest on the outskirts of this small "Bullerby-village". The
village has a nice community and in the center of the village there is a small swimming-lake and it
also has it´s own village-sauna. Beside the lake in the center of the village, there is another larger
lake about 500 meters in the other direction (and several more in the district). This is
in Bergslagen center with thick forests filled with berries and mushrooms (in season), good for
walking, biking and excellent hunting opportunities (many wild animals live in the area). Besides
lakes for swimming there are very good fishing-lakes in the area (all year around). The area have a
small ski-lift, perfect for children and good skiing trails only 2 km away. There are also many
horse-farms in the area where you can rent a horse (or have your own horse).
The nearest larger community is Skinnskatteberg. The nearest large cities is Västerås and Örebro
(45 minutes by car) and Stockholm is 2,5 hours away. Good communication with bus and train.
